Immediate feedback on student progress is 5 simple steps away with MyMicrobiologyPlace

Use the GradeTracker tool on the website to track students' progress. You will need to create a class ID and share it with your students. Follow the steps below to create a class ID.

  1. Log into your book's website at www.microbiologyplace.com .
  2. Click "Class Manager" in the top right corner.
  3. Click "Create a New Class".
  4. Complete preliminary class information, make note of the automatically generated Class ID (looks like: cm130412), and click "Create Your Class".
  5. Give the Class ID to your students so they can join your online class by clicking "Join a Class" on the website. After students have joined the class, you can view your class roster and Gradebook any time by clicking "Class Manager".
